This was a well preserved 65 C Coupe with matching engine and no rust or accidents. It was originally Irish Green with Fawn but was repainted in Stone Grey about 15 years ago. The paint had some issues and needed to be redone, but the interior was still in immaculate condition. The interior had been restored in full leather 15 years earlier. The sunroof was listed on the original Kardex and was installed by Golde in Stuttgart, at the customers request after its completion at Porsche. This was not unheard of; if a customer changed his mind after the car was finished the factory simply sent the car across town to Golde and had the sunroof installed and the top repainted. Common to this type of sunroof installation, this car does not have the drain holes behind the rear quarter windows. The water drains through a tube into the rear fenderwell between the B and C pillars. The owner had the car repainted in black. He personalized his Coupe with a long list of WR sport upgrades as follows:
12V electrical system
WR Sport Suspension Kit including:
17.5mm front swaybar,
Stiffer front and rear torsion bars,
Stiffer rear spring plate bushings,
Bilstein shocks, 1 inch lower ride height,
Decambered front spindles
WR Dual Circuit Brake Kit, Slotted brake rotors
WR 2002cc twin plug engine kit built on original case (130hp)
