1958 Speedster
The owner bought this car is 1972 and has driven it many miles since then. We replaced the floorpan about 3 years ago and now it's in for a complete restoration. It was mechanically restored about two years ago by another shop but unfortunately many of the repairs were improperly done. The trans. was noisy and leaked, the engine smoked and leaked and the brakes were pulling badly. We will be doing a complete cosmetic restoration as well as reinforcing the longitudinals and repairing some minor rust areas on the body and chassis. In addition, we will completely disassemble the car mechanically and correctly repair and rebuild all components. Options will include: full leather interior with Speedster seats, 5.5" painted wheels, W/R 95hp engine conversion, 12V, dual circuit brake system, 3 pt. belts, euro bumpers...
