WR Oil Pressure Relief Plugs in 304 stainless

WR74 - Oil Pressure Relief Plug Tool

The original oil pressure relief plugs were made from mild steel and were
not plated  (no internal engine component should be plated because of  the internal
contamination potential). They were installed with a special tool P74, which was
basically a 1/2" drive socket with a curved face blade the size of the slot in the plug.
Over the years these original plugs have become damaged from rust or improper
removal with channel-locks or a modified screw-driver.

These WR Oil Pressure Relief Plugs are a perfect replacement for the  original but are
made from 304 stainless and will never rust. They can be installed without damage by
using the special WR74 Tool. This tool is a perfect fit for our plugs, and unlike the
factory tool, has a sleeve which slides over the outside of the plug to position the blade
for proper, slip-free, tightening.
